Welcome to E.E. MAZIER CONCEPTS where ideas take flight in words

E.E. Mazier Upholds High Standards in Writing
I am a freelance writer and journalist and a former attorney. Since ending my
practice of law, I have written for many print and on-line publications,
including the insurance magazine National Underwriter-P&C, the newspapers
New Jersey Lawyer and The National Law Journal, and Suite101.com.
In addition, I am an award-winning short story writer and a playwright.
When I was a student, I loved my English and writing classes. For me, it was
fun to learn how to diagram a sentence and structure an essay. To this day, I
believe that a true writer should be able to write about anything in an
intelligent, articulate, and original manner. There is no excuse for hackneyed,
sloppy writing! To properly convey ideas, words must be chosen and
arranged with care and patience.
Do Not Accept What Passes for Professional Writing Today
Are you tired of poorly conceived, unstructured articles and other writings
that fail to convey a cohesive message, let alone to inform? That are loaded
with obsolescent jargon and distracting juvenile cultural references? That are
so full of grammatical errors that you have to wonder about the writer's
educational qualifications? If you answered "yes," then you have landed on
the right Web page.
To be a writer is to throw away a great deal,
not to be satisfied, to type again, and then
again, and once more, and over and over....
